Directs daily operations, staff and resources and is responsible for the implementation of all policies and programs approved by the ABA Board of Directors.
Administers the policies and procedures that have been established by our Board of Directors to evaluate the credentials of candidates and diplomates for board certification and maintenance of certification. The credentialing process includes examination and review of the credentials of individuals meeting a set of educational and occupational criteria such as training, licensure, the ability to practice independently and continuing medical education. The ABA has established a Customer Service Center staffed with analysts who are available to answer questions and provide guidance regarding board certification.
